Donald Trump had warned a week ahead of time that the ‘Justice for J6’ rally was a setup. Capitol Hill went into lockdown and erected security fence around the Capitol buildings.
Trump told the Federalist , “On Saturday, that’s a setup. If people don’t show up they’ll say, ‘Oh, it’s a lack of spirit.’ And if people do show up they’ll be harassed.”
The purpose to the J6 rally was to protest the January 6th protestors that are being held in jail without bail. Some have no clear connections to January 6th 2021 protest but are still being held. Some have no lawyer representation.
Trump said in a statement ‘Our hearts and minds are with the people being persecuted so unfairly relating to the January 6th protest concerning the Rigged Presidential Election. In addition to everything else, it has proven conclusively that we are a two-tiered system of justice. In the end, however, justice will prevail! ’
At the J6 rally, it was mostly the press and police. Just like President Trump warned, it is very apparent that it was all a setup to further to agenda of the Liberal Left. For example, one man arrested at the J6 rally for carrying a weapon turned out to be an undercover cop.
